Special Agent Ben Blome is currently the Supervisor for the Cyber Squad in the Richmond Field Office. Before promoting to Supervisor, SA Blome spent 10 years working both National Security and Criminal investigations to include ransomware, inside threat, and intrusions by nation state actors. Prior to joining the FBI, SA Blome spent 12 years working for a fortune 1000 company in Bloomington, Illinois. There he worked as a Cyber Security Analyst, Firewall Administrator, Forensic Analyst, and ultimately promoted to SOC Team Lead.
SA Blome holds the EnCE Certification along with over 10 GIAC SANS Certifications and currently serves as a Board Member for the Virginia Cyber Security Partnership Board (VCSP).
