Cyrus Beheshti is the Chair of the Advisory Board. He joined the Virginia Cyber Security Partnership in 2014 and served as the Mission Objective Lead for Outreach and Pipeline Development before joining the Advisory Board in 2015. Cyrus was elected as the Chair in 2015 and re-elected in 2017 to complete his second term in 2019.

Cyrus is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Risk and Financial Advisory (RFA) practice based in Richmond, VA. He has over 14 years of experience with focusing on regulatory compliance, information systems security, business process improvement, enterprise-wide risk management, and internal control assessments. Cyrus specializes in SAP security and controls and serving large manufacturing clients.

In addition to serving clients, Cyrus has also supported several Firm initiatives. He has led the development and implementation of programs designed to address regulatory requirements. Cyrus also supported the operations leader within one of RFA’s core businesses and focused on managing growth while controlling cost. Most recently he supported the Chief Risk and Reputation officer for RFA, focused on advancing a program related to Reputational risk.

Cyrus is a Virginia Tech graduate and continues to support the University through a number of activities. He regularly guest lectures on SAP Securtity and Controls within the Business School (Pamplin) and helped position Deloitte as the founding sponsor of the Center of Business Intelligence and Analytics. He helped establish and served as the Vice Chair of the Accounting and Information Systems Emerging Leaders Board. He was alo recently admitted to VCU’s Cybersecutiy Advisory Board.
