Cyrus Beheshti joined the Virginia Cyber Security Partnership in 2014 and was admitted to the Advisory Board in 2015, where he served two terms as Chair between 2015-2019. He also severed as the Mission Objective Lead for Outreach and Pipeline Development before joining the Advisory Board.
Cyrus has over 20 years of combined IT experience focusing on cyber security, regulatory compliance, IT risk management, and internal controls. Cyrus is a Managing Director at Deloitte focused on serving the Government. He supports client initiatives focused on information security, digital transformation, risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and improving process efficiency and effectiveness.
Cyrus is a Virginia Tech graduate and continues to support the University through a number of activities. His favorite Cyber-related books include: America the Vulnerable, Ghost in the Wires, and One Second After.
